He operated successfully, but Isabel was left with a bill of over 10,000 € which was paid for her family. After all that, she decided to take legal action against the Catalan Health Service, and she has now been awarded 300,000 €. She said to 20minutos – ‘Let all the doctors who said I was mad, see that I’m not’.
