56 year old British man, who was confined to a wheelchair, has died in a fire in a caravan

56 year old British man, who was confined to a wheelchair, has died in a fire in a caravan which was parked on an industrial estate in Pinoso, Alicante.

The man is known to have been living in the caravan since last November. It’s thought the fire could have started from a badly extinguished ‘brasero’.

It happened at 6.45 am on Sunday. A guard at the industrial park raised the alarm and the fire service went to the scene with the Guardia Civil and Local Police.

During the extinction of the fire the firemen found the burnt body of the victim inside the caravan.
