British drug dealers arrested in Benidorm

 

Two British suspects have been remanded to custody after they were caught while under surveillance in Benidorm with 50 kilos of cannabis inside their vehicle. The drugs were found inside two suitcases they were transporting in a van which is owned by another Briton. He was later identified and arrested, but was released with charges after being questioned by police. Two property searches took place in Alfaz del Pi and Jávea as part of the operation. EFE reports that officers have confiscated a laptop computer, electronic scales, 9mm ammunition, a counterfeit currency detector and 2,000 € in cash. Three top range vehicles have been impounded by the police.
